apriki: POTTER WATCH ‘11 As we all know, the eighth and final Harry Potter film will be released in July. This is potentially the last ever piece of canon to be added to the Harry Potter series. In order to celebrate Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, and to take one final look at the series as we know it, there’s only one thing to do: A tumblr wide rewatch of the entire series. There will be graphics. There will be gifs. There will be crack and discussions and spam and commentary. But most of all, we’re going to appreciate that quiet badass, king of the awkward moments, British hipster and all-round good guy, Harry James Potter. The schedule is as follows: every Saturday, beginning 21 May and running until the week before DHII, we watch the Harry Potter movies in chronological order, beginning at 10pm American EST (I know this is a really weird time but it’s the best I could do to accomodate everyone. I’m aware it completely screws over the Europeans, but please feel free to watch sometime when it’s not in the middle of the night). Two months of pure Potter goodness. The dates are: 21 May: Philosopher’s Stone 27 May: Chamber of Secrets 4 June: Prisoner of Azkaban 11 June: Goblet of Fire 18 June: Order of the Phoenix 25 June: Half-Blood Prince 1 July: A Very Potter Musical/Sequel 9 July: Deathly Hallows Part I  There’s a drinking game for those so inclined. Closer to their dates I’ll put up a post for each individual movie including stream and download links. So go buy your firewhiskey or write to Tom Riddle in your diary but BE PREPARED, because Potter Watch is coming and shit will get real.
